Giving birth is hard work! Have you ever done a difficult workout where your muscles were sore from working so hard? It's kind of like that.
When you finished the workout, remember that feeling of "YES! I did it!" that you got? Imagine that good feeling times 1 million. That's how it feels after you give birth, if you have no drugs or surgery to cause complications.
THAT is why I choose giving birth without drugs ;-)
The actual physical sensation of the baby coming out is kind of like pushing out the biggest poo you ever had, though of course the result is a lot cuter!
Giving birth is not horrible, scary, or "the worst pain in the world." If you want info about giving birth, I suggest reading "The Complete Book of Pregnancy and Childbirth" by Sheila Kitzinger and Birthing From Within by Pam England.
Lots of people will tell you to read "What to Expect When You're Expecting" by in my experience that book has too many scary stories and too much false info. There are lots of books out there that are better.

Giving birth is painful. But it's after the birth when the pain really begins. You don't get much sleep, and babies are very demanding of time. But you asked about birth itself. They have medication you can take to help with the pain. Most of the time it takes a while that's why it's called Labor I believe. It's hard work, but it's worth it. You have to be ready for the baby though. I wouldn't worry about anything like that right now anyhow. Finish school and go to college. Worry about birth and pain later. Having a good partner will help with the all that too.

It is different for everyone. I had no pain until my doctor broke my water after 8 hours of contractions and 5 mins after that I got my epidural so I felt nothing. My epidural did wear off and I felt contractions for about a half hour and it was very painful but just like bad menstral cramps that wont go away. I received another epidural and again felt nothing. I pushed 9 times and she was out. It is the kind of pain you forget, but one thing I will NEVER forget is the last push to get her out. Your stomache turns to jello and kinda flops around! It feels SO GOOD!! :-)
I tore and had 33 stitches to deal with after she was born and that was more painful then anything. That pain lasted about 4 days but only when I sat down! Its NOT that bad! And the pleasure of your little baby is WELL WORTH all the pain!

It's natural. Our bodies are designed to give birth. Billions of women before us have given birth. The only problems I saw in childbirth as a nurse, related to women meeting the challenge of childbirth, were women who were out of good physical condition and lazy in regular life and then physically weak and lazy in labor, which made it harder on the poor babies. Women who used recreational drugs even before they got pregnant made it much harder on their babies. And, women who are cowardly and lack strong character, the kind who expect everything to be "easy" and who fall apart easily at broken finger nails, difficult times or hard effort, always made the birthing experience a holy nightmare for themselves, their families, friends and delivery staff. Childbirth is a normal challenge. It isn't "easy". But, like I said, we women are built to take it. Trust me, if a woman is afraid of the challenge of childbirth, she's probably not emotionally suitable for facing the much bigger challenges of raising a child.

Well, luckily, for some people it's not all painful like it is for most. For me, it was very uncomfortable, but I never had any pain, and nothing unbearable. It was overall a good experience.

I'm sorry to tell you but it is very painful. The end result though makes the pain so worth enduring.

What's your problem? You put your question up here and take it away. How do you expect people to answer your question. I tried to answer it seriously three times already. It was very painful for me all three times, some woman have no pain at all. Every woman is different.
