prefer that this professional would be a man or a girl? Because I'm a guy and I'm into proffessional make up business, I just want to hear what do you think about this and how do you feel, if a guy does your make up? Who do you think is better in this guys or girls?

Other comments welcome too, or criticism...

I really wouldn't have a preference with regard to the sex of the person doing my makeup but I do like to see other people that have been made up by that person to see their work. It gives me a little preview of what's in store. But I will say this, a female who is wearing jacked up makeup can NOT do mine. If she doesn't get herself together...what the heck will she do for me. A man wouldn't have to worry about being judged by his makeup.

I've had my makeup done by both, and I honestly couldn't tell a difference in technique. They both did an excellent job, just small differences in the colors that were used.
If I was going to plan on hiring someone, I would care more about licensing, experience, and if there were any recommendations for others to go by.
If the man had 10 years on the job and a license, and the woman had 5 years on the job and a license, I would go with the man. The assumption is that with more time you learn more things. Little tips and tricks that come with experience can be more valuable than schooling.

It's doesn't matter if its a guy or a girl...if your good at your work then the ladies just don't mind..actually to be honest..its seems that guys are better in makeup 'cause they have this rhythm with their technical hand movements...not only make up..cooking as well..

I'm actually pretty good in doin my own makeup...but never did a pro do my makeup..perhaps if u had a chance i would like to see your work...

If I could get a professional to do my makeup-Yes I would snag up on the idea!!! I personally would rather have a male do the makeup because men will do the makeup the way they would like to see you-BEAUTIFUL!!! But a good professional male or female would be great!!!
Good Question!
:)

I have had my makeup done by both a man and a woman and honestly, the man did it a lot better...I think he knew what I wanted to accomplish and how to make me look hot and so he did. I would have another man do my makeup any day!!

My daughter looked gorgeous after a man did her make up and showed her how to apply it properly. Women tend to make things too "colorful"

i think if u prove ur good then it shouldn't matter if you male or female. if i heard a guy was good it'd go. its sexism to think a man can't do it was good. I have a friend whos a beautician. shes good. I have another female friend who walks around looking like a clown!!

I wouldn't mind wether it would be done by a male or female, as long as you would make me feel relaxed and accepted, and ofcourse you'd have to be real good at your job!

it wouldn't matter to me as long as that individual is knowledgeable about the product and understands the look i am trying to achieve. And yes, one other thing...i totally dislike when someone is trying to over sell me on products. So listen to your customer.
