got an email with a boundery square and a small red "x" in the top left corner ....how do i open the picture?

The Red X means that the picture did not come through. You won't be able to download it. Sorry

Just out of interest, I had this when I was looking at a transport site some time ago. The boxes all came up with that little red x in them where pictures were supposed to be, and then, purely by accident I 'switched off' the pop-up blocker and guess what.......up came the pictures !!!! Don't ask my how or why, but I've done it elsewhere as well, and it always works !!!

It means a picture hasn't loaded - could be blocked by Yahoo Mail - there's a link to show HTML or pictures

ive got that on all the avatars. think its because you could be missing a flash player.

Try right clicking on it and choosing "Show picture".
Alternatively click on "show source" and find the .jpg that way.
