Why? Mexico doesn't open it's borders to neighboring countries. if you are doing research on the subject of open borders then you should take a good look at how mexico treats illegal aliens in their country. Let's just say that I wouldn't want to be caught without my green card there.

They already are ... have you ever acquire any thought what number a good number of grass, heroin, coke and different candies come over each and every 365 days ? Borders are extensive open ... They tell the morons in this u . s . a . they try to safeguard the borders. And go away a million highway patrolman to conceal a 500 mile stretch with the help of himself. lol. Wont even approve extra time pay for them. funds cuts etc. Dont youngster your self ... borders are extensive OPEN dood. there is situations the place an unlawful immigrant gets deported and that they only about beat the bus that dropped them off in Mexico back.

Yawn. Just woke up from a 10 year sleep. When did they
close the Mexican border. I thought they were thinking about
beefing up patrol along the border. I'm all for keeping the border open at both ends as long as people entered our country
legally. I don't like the fact that thousands of illegal aliens
want automatic citizenship once they step foot on U.S. soil.

Here's what they should do: Dig a trench across the entire border. Hmm, what will they do with all that extra dirt? Put it in New Orleans so it is above sea level and avoid another catastrophe next hurricane. Then, all those alligators that Floridians complain about, just put those in the trench and turn it into a moat. See if they got the balls to cross the border now. Problem solved.

I thought they were already open. Does it really matter? They're going to get here anyway.
There should be a better solution. Make Mexico part of the US and give them better living conditions & wages & then the US woudn't be so overcrowded.

yes so that the people of both country can know each other better and help with one another and United State it get a lot of cheap labour and for it own citizen they can upgrade themselves and become the leader in the information technologies

I agree w/ Chelle. You are not going to stop it. Make Mexico part of US.. I have visited Mexico many times. It is a beautiful country.
But.. they must follow the rules of this country. the corruption down there is very ugly.. Corruption here is also ugly..
