u dont have to transfer anything from the google desktop
whn u login to ur google account ur info is automatically sent to the google servers
(this is where it affects ur privacy)
so all u gotta dois install google desktop on the other machine and sign in using ur existing acount and ur preferences and addons will automatically be transfered
