I had a dream the other night, my soon to be ex husband came running upstairs and pooed in my bubble bath, laughed at me maniacally with an evil look on his face and ran off. He also had hair, which he hasnt had for ages! any ideas?

Mmm... rather Freudian don't you think? This sounds like a reflection on how you feel about the way your husband had treated you, namely he had pooped in your safe, comforting place, possibly even on your sense of sexuality/sensuality.
Bubble bath=comforting, womb-like, safe,
Water= sexuality/sensuality, nurturing/incubating.
Hair has always cropped up in dreams as a pretty dominant symbol for a lot of people, do you remember the colour of the hair by any chance? As that is also important to the analysis of the symbol. According to Freud, dream symbols can be either a visual pun or a replacement of something that your ego wants to censor, possibly sexual. Think about it some more, what does your husband's hair in your dream remind you of, what are the feelings you have associated in the dream with it? That might be able to give you an idea what it means.

Thank goodness you are getting rid of him, looks like he has been 'pooing' on you for a long time, you should have ripped his hair out in that dream and stuck his head under the water.

You are relating your feeling for him in this dream. I'll bet he was possessive, hateful and liked to hurt your feelings. He also prevented you from having any fun or good times. You got no leisure time around him because you felt like you had to be up doing something (cleaning, cooking, making the bed, etc.) all the time.

research Sigmund Frueds chapter Distortion of Dreams from the book interpretation of dreams, there is distortion of your dream content ie what you physically described the dream to look like, versus what the dream really means, it does not mean your husband is literally shitting on you, that is a distorted image of what you are actually feeling in the dream and waht the imagery of your dream actually means, it goes indepth but thit may be a start

maybe your worrying too much about the future,
that your soon to be ex will get a new look and take some sort of revenge maybe???
like with the new look get a stunning new woman is this one of your worries if it is then this you will dream things like this as your brain still thinks of your worries while your asleep

sounds a rotten dream....l think we dream like this to prepare ourselves for events that are hard to get through...l call them comparison dreams...whereby you survive your dream even though this awful thing happens which defies logic in most cases.then should it or something similar happen in reality to you..you are mentally prepared to survive

Sounds to me like maybe you did things to him back when he had hair that you are feeling guilty for now.
