mech is a versatile branch with gr8 career oppurtunities. all the software industries cater solutions to either automobile/manufacturing sector so without them software industries will not be there. it is lucrative slow but steady growth assured branch. it is not like a branch which doesnot when it falls down like a pack of cards.

Mech is a very diverse branch of engineering. Depending on your interests there are many possible job opportunities. Advanced studies are useful if you are intrested in research or a very math intensive job.

Also, mech stays away from a lot of the tricky math you find in EE that does not have much application outside of EE. This makes mech a good first degree if you're considering an MBA or another degree after your undergraduate degree.

obviously yes. mech is a very good branch because it has got a very bright future.
for higher studies after diploma or degree is like sugar in the honey.
you should make goal of doing higher studies.

yes in INDIA its a very good Branch and coursee....... as Indian s Rich in xportin and manufacturing of machine goods and there s almost atleast 2-3 companies in every state of India....

for higher studies m-tech s good s being highly qualified in a single particular field will surely enhance ur pocket space.

ya,its a very good branch....you can see many practical applications what we are studied....after that u can do ur PG .(ME)....if u finish that u will be a valuable person.......
