I like the idea of legalizing pot. A lot of people do it just because it is illegal and they are rebelling, etc. Plus we need to get it off the black market. If it was on the ballot, I would vote for it. If someone asked me to sign a petition to get it on the ballot, I would sign it. However, having it legalized worldwide, I don't think is possible. I think it should be up to the people in that district to vote the way they want and have it pass or not pass there. Many drugs are legal in the Netherlands because that is what they wanted. In the United States, where i live, it is illegal because enough people want it to stay that way. Until that changes, it will remail illegal.

In short - NO
Reason - Marijuana is afterall a drug, it's dreadful. U simply have no control over urself and like, forget everything that u said or did when ur bad to the normal state of mind.
Example - Well... a couple of my close friends... i see the hell the behave, they don't control themselves, that drug controls them. It's Horrible!

That's why,
I believe a sensible goverment would never legalize this drug.
PPL's HEALTH IS MORE IMPORTANT... U know that and so do I.

Surely,

It has many properties for healing:

Induces sleep

Reduces aggression and criminal instinct.

Clear bowels if taken at night with milk

Increases appetite for unhealthy & sick persons.

Improves digestive systems.

Works as pain killer too.

It does not spread Cancer like cigerettes.

It gives you a soft kick as well

There are many countries, where this is not banned. Many medicines are made from marijuana, which work like SOS. Since it is banned in a couple of countries, it is traded in a clandestine manner, which invovles Billions of $.

If this is legalised, and taxed heavily, the Government can earn huge revenue.

only for medicinal use

I think its stupid the government will out law this stuff and make us put on are seat belts. Yet they won't outlaw cigarettes. Its like going for a drive with out your seat belt. I mean there no guarantee that you'll get in a car wreck but their still a chance.

the only reason they won't outlaw it is because our government is in the pockets of the Tabasco coorperations.

My first thought is yes. Especially in the US.

Because: It would replace tobacco as the cash crop. It could be packaged like cigarettes and sold in liquor stores to people over 21. It could be taxed greatly and get the country out of debt in no time. Not to mention the medicinal properties.

This is a tough question, and the person who has even a little sense can't answer this question without some thought. In some ways it would fix problems in other ways it would create new problems. I can't answer this right away to be honest.

I don't smoke, but why not, liquor is legal! So many deaths and crimes occur because of it.
I bet if more of our fore fathers had smoked marijuana than drank,IT would be legal! Peace...pipe,Y.

There was a time that I thought so, but now I see the error in my line of thinking. No way should it be legalized. Americans are already apathetic and indifferent enough as it is.
