That's more bacteria than we have cells in our whole body! Some places on our skin have very little bacteria, like your back while other places make perfect little homes for bacteria, such as the groin and your armpits.Staphylococcus epidermidis is one of the most common skin bacteria.

The bacteria that cover our bodies are constantly changing. Everytime you use anti-bacterial soap or gel, rub up against something, or take a shower, the normal flora on your body either decreases or increases. Everybody has a different amount of normal flora to begin with so there is no exact answer to that question...but there's a bunch of the little critters I'm sure!

Billions if not Trillions the so tiny that we cant even see it with out a good microscope a single square inch of skin probably has over 100,000 bacteria there are many kinds also

Billions. it is disgusting. Kim and Aggie said that in the weeks the BB contestants were in the house that they shed enough dead skin to make 300 new house mates so if that can come off your body who knows what else can. Ugh!!!
