I thought It'd take a terrier, looks like I'm wrong. There's fur and gristle everywhere.

There is probably a socket on the bottom that yiou can turn with a wrench, but if under your kitchen sink looks like mine, there is another method.

Take an old wooden baseball bat, and insert handle end down in the disposal. Stir the disposal with the bat back and forth until it turns.

Do not run the disposal with the bat in it, it works less well than the terrier.

Some toward the bottom of the disposer is a reset button. Mkae sure it is in all the way. Some unit do have a place for a hex wrench on the bottom. First, turn off the circuit breaker. Then, remove the black splashguard and shine a light down in to see if anything is wedged in the blade wheel. If so, take some long needle nose pliers to get it out. You can try the wood pole thing, but if it's stubborn, don't force it too much - you could bend up your sink. You can buy a wrench that will push on both blades.

You must back the Disposal up- on the bottom is a Allen Wrench fitting, fit a proper Allen wrench in the opening and work it back and forth until you can turn it freely- you can also back it up with a Broom handle-

Well, remove the larger animal parts ( :) ) then insert the handle of a broom and rotate it till it 'unlocks'.

The broom handle trick works most everytime.

Next time, chop your terrier with an axe first into smaller more manageble pieces.

BTW- you are a sick puppy.
