Put Tea tree oil on the acne affected skin. This is a natural antibiotic. It will destroy a broad range of invading microorganisms, as effectively as benzol peroxide, but without side effects. It reduces redness, itchiness and stinging.
Lemon and cotton ball helps if you apply it immediately when the pimple bursts, after squeezing out all the blood with clean hands. This helps prevent the formation of a scar. Already existing scars are harder to get rid off. They will fade gradually over a period of time. Applying a mixture of lemon and cotton juice may help lighten the skin slightly becuase it is a natural bleach. You could try using 'No Marks' cream and see if it helps lighten your scars.

Try using Mederma for your scars. You can get it at Walmart for around 12 bucks. Use a good acne face wash, and use some heavy duty spot treatment. It's about as good as it gets for battling the zits.

I have heard that proactiv is good stuff. My brother used it and had great success. It is only 20 bucks to get started. The other option is to see a dermatologist.
