omnipotent (all-powerful) hence I'm sure he's quite
capable of creating an earth which is both 23 billion
years old (complete with evil things like dinosaurs),
and the 6000 year old earth that you seem to live on.

Tell me about the dinosaurs. The earth was before the creation which is described in genesis. You know, the actual word in genesis 2 is :and the earth became deserted and without shape. According to a theory, daemons were the first inhabitant of earth.
