Yes why not? If the US players had had an idea about what is going on in European basketball, they wouldn't have been so shocked today. Great games are played in Europe, maybe Americans should see a few European games now and then.

Actually it's hard to believe.. this is the second time greece wins usa (first was in 1977 i think). Lets hope they'll make it to the gold!

Do a search for my question asked a week and a half ago. "How is the US basketball team going to win the Championship if they cannot play defense?" and see the hubris of my fellow Americans. It's telling.

People should stop underestimating Greece...
It's not shocking at all...
Greece has won Euro titles in the past, so why is it so surprising they beat the U.S.?
