I don't put too much stock in numerology, but I was wondering that since it revolves around the name and date of birth for it's insights, and it supposedly works for any 'entity' (human or corporate fiction alike), then how do you define when a company or organization is born? I'd be interested to know, even while not thinking along numerological lines.

So pretty much is it A.) when you first have the idea B.) some sort of definite action (like getting a domain name or tm, etc.) or C.) or is it born when you say it is?

Wasn't sure what catagory to put this in, so I aplogize if it seems out of place.

A company is born when the state gives you legal rights to commence business (ie you get incorporated and file the necessary documents etc). Remember that a company is a legal entity. You can have ideas for a company for years and do nothing about them. The ideas and everything else that you do are processes leading up to the birth of your company.
On the other hand a business (sole proprietorship, partnership) is born when you start operations eg some home based businesses.

To me its birth is when you begin the company year. It is most probably when the company started its operations.
