Try any place you want. Fast food, Grocery stores, retail, library. When I was in highschool I worked at Kings Island, Meijers (grocery), Kroger (grocery), and DSW (shoes). Go to the mall and apply.

I worked in a restaurant as a waitress. It was nice to have a job where I didn't come home smelling of grease. It helped me learn people skills and being nice to rude people. The downside is the wages were tips, instead of a set amount. But good part is that anytime I worked, I brought home money that night. By boyfriend (husband now) used to work fast-food in highschool and he liked it. But he'd get off work reeking of grease. Ok for him, ewww for me.

Is there any way that you can get some kind of intern job at your school? Sometimes you can get school credit for jobs like these, heck you even get to get out of school early. If that isn't possible I would suggest helping elderly, or maybe housecleaning. Both of these jobs allow you to be your own boss, and earn life experience to boot.

Try any local deli, ice cream stand, food market, fast food place, etc. Just make sure that you are working locally. Have fun and good luck!
