It sounds like a good idea. Why don't they make it into a reality show

suppose it depends on the purpose of the documentary really. If it's just for laughs or to show how it could be done then I think it's pretty irresponsible. I'm no Bush fan, quite the reverse in fact, but in the event of a copycat murder the mans assassination would just worsen things, Dick Cheny, Don Rumsfeld, Condi Rice et al are just as capable of knackering up east-west relations as Bush, and the scary thought is that they have brains as well neo-conservatism! Not to mention the fact that any assassination would automatically be blamed on Islam in some way or another... step away from the Big Red Button Ms Rice!!

Having said all that, my money would be on this documentary being sponsored by the republican right, in a sort of "be afraid of Terror, we still got to win this fight and if we don't this is what might happen so love your county, hate the arabs and please support us when we want to put even more freedom limiting legislation through congress" kind of way..

Whilst the guy is in office, it is an absolute outrage. It is likely to encourage some nutter out there to have a go. The film producers should be arrested and charged with treason, or its equivalent in the States.

One of the reason given that it shouldn't be shown is that it might give people the idea to try it. Anyone who would actually try to assassinate a president doesn't need a TV programme to give them the idea!! Are they going to ban history now in case previous assassinations of heads of state give people the wrong idea?

Assissination of any head of state is not a pleasant experience for any country.

Is this your solution for "any President" with whom anyone disagrees? Can such a thing "influence" some idiot out there?

Are you old enough to vote? Then haul your as* and your friends to the voting booth.

And, if you have a candidate in mind, send him/her cash.

Be careful of what you wish for. You may get it.

I think it's probably wrong to do while he's still alive, though I really don't like the man. The problem is though, if he was assasinated, there'd just be someone else just as bad to replace him. The idiots who picked him, will pick the next one.

Just wishful thinking. if only it were to really happen. Then our Prime Minister Tony Blair would stop following him round like a poodle. Repeat after me: George Bush is a Noodle, Tony Blair is his poodle.

Are the networks trying to give people ideas on how to go about it? Was Michael Moore co-producer?

Is it a comedy? I think Bush would make a great Inspector Clouseau. He is a natural.

very wrong. A little bit like announcing that they (Blairs government) had no plans for a state funeral for Margret Thatcher, one of our Countrys best Prime Ministers, and still very alive.
Its a sick idea for ratings
