Jeff was released from WWE on April 22, 2003. The reasons given for the release were Jeff's erratic behavior, deteriorating ring performance, increasing drug use, and refusal to enter rehab as well as constantly either turning up late or no showing events.

He was a drug user and didn't care at the time. they let him go so he could get cleaned up and he went to work for TNA Wrestling. He was there the last two and half years. Also check on wwe.com to find the hardy returns article. It will give you alot more than what i was able to remember.

Youre mostly stupid, and cant spell worth a sh*t. The shame of it is the spell checker is right there, every post, every time. Sure punctuation and grammar isnt as important, but some of the spelling errors around here is just freakin ridiculous. Go back to school folks. Pay attention.

He used drugs.. but claimed he wasnt addicted... basiclly he lost his passion for the business... He was more concentrated on making music... notice when he was TNa his entrance music was actually him and his band!
But yea he lost his passion he was no showing house shows... he was late for TV shows(Raw and SD) so the wwe thought he needed help and gave him an ultimatum... their way or the high way... he chose the high way which led to TNA!
NOw he s back.. which is cool
