Terror created by man.?

Question

Why do terrorist create terror among human beings? There where terrorist even in Jesus, Mohammed period. Yes off course in those days people were illiterate, but now everything is developed and people are educated. Why does these people exist, Is there a end to it. Please discuss. This topic came into my mind coz we are nearing the anniversary of 11/9..

In today's urbanized society we do have all the paraphernalia needed to be well-informed and logical, but this is not the case in thrid world's rural areas. There religion still plays an important role in the lives of common folk. The religious clerics still have an immense but underrated force in their hands, that is, the promise of eternal bliss or eternal damnation. There is a need to change that outlook of life by reducing poverty, educating people and creating a secular society.

Sorry you are wrong. There were no terrorists in those days. There was a lot of killing, wars and the like but terrorism was unknown.

The Muslims had their "Fitna" where dis-unity after the prophets death tore the Muslim community apart and brought about the Shia – Sunni split. But it did not involve terrorism.

Some might argue that Genghis Khan and others around that time used terrorism but I think that the reality is that it was really just warfare and really cannot be classed as terrorism.

Terrorism only started in the twentieth century. Real terrorism as we now know it only started after the second world war.

Whilst 9/11 is refered to as terrorism they shot themselves in the foot really in a very counterproductive way. The aim of terrorism is to commit acts that terrorise the general population. That in essence requires people to be frightened of the unknown and intangible threat. 9/11 was so big and so horrendous that it became understandable and handle able by most of the population. It gave them and the government something to fight back against. The fight will be long but it will be won and 9/11 will be the reason that al Qaeda will loose.

I think it is because religion is so diverse, and they are trying to rule out religion in the statehood, even though that state hood, has "Under God We Trust" on money and many other things. Not just that, but not every religion is recognized in the same fashion, more religions are popping up, and that can lead to confusion, but in the same sense of religion, some peoples beliefs can clash, and then that can create huge problems, and sometimes wars, simply because ones thoughts and views arnt recognized in main stream society. As well as all the other things that are classified as right, and perfect in society, that we cannot become, such as weight, clothing, hair, and some people cannot either afford these things, or look a certian way due to illness., and genetics.

There are the negative forces and positive forces in this world. But the negative force work faster then the positive force. But don't worry !
The negative work force comes fast and goes fast as it appears ! The long lasting is only the positive force , in short TRUTH , you can named it GOD too ! But we have to keep passion and have to pray to GOD ! The time will come when the terrorist will destroy themselves automatically as per the nature's principles.
It can not be forever ! The terrorists, in fact does not have cool mind to work for the peace of man kind ! what they are getting out of it ? They are misguided by the specific community on the religious platform ! Very shamful thing !

My dear friend,
If terrorists could either feel our pain or understand our feelings ever, they wouldn't have harmed so many innocent people as they r habitual of.Instead they would have shared the pleasure of unity,peace and overall development,we can say.
I don't think there is any end to all this. As they seek their big happiness n great achievement into numerous innocent killings.
What we can do is -keep calmness, courage n unity instead of losing hope n get threatened by their mischievous deeds, which is their main motive.
Still I wish that terrorists could listen or understand people like you n me someday.

Being literate has nothing to do with terrorism. Hatred or fear does. People "hate" therefore they commit terrorist acts. People "fear" what they don't understand therefore they commit terrorist attacks. RELIGION is not the root cause. Think of such factions as the KKK. They MAY claim a religious belief, but it's just plain "hate" and "fear" of another race.

They have always existed.
It is part of human nature.
Present day society has contributed to their importance with increase in media technology and open market economics.
These people are those who are normally misfits in any normal system.They fail in their efforts to excel.Revenge attitude sets in.They are cowards.That is why they adopt such tactics.They can never win an open confrontation.That is why they adopt hit and run.Their enemy is the system and the victims are innocent people.Society has to learn to live with them.
