I found a new one this year. It's an annual music festival about 3 hours away from where I live. A bunch of us are going to make it a yearly get away. Camp out for the week and go watch shows every night. We went up for one night this year and saw The Bangles.

Halloween, because I love dressing up and making my own costumes. I work in a call center so it's alway, interesting to entertain my fellow co-workers. In past years, I have been Lily Munster, Frida Kahlo, a secret agent, a Mouseketeer, Wednesday Addams, and a geisha. I also sneak in as the Sugar Plum fairy for the holidays, because you need humor when you work retail at that time of year.

My birthday because i enjoy being called and hugged a lot that day.
My bf's birthday because i get to be more sweet and to spoil him and because i like the preparations i make for that day.
Our anniversary, because it represents that despite of the years we've been together, we still love each other, and every day more.
Yeah, that's it... i think, although i also used to like christmas, but not so much now, it brings me bad memories...

CHRISTMAS!!!
I used to love it when I was a kid - my parents used to make it so magical and special, and I always had a good feeling inside. (And, I'm ashamed to admit, I loved getting prezzies!)
During my teenage years, I loved it because we "made it happen" for my little sister, who is 8 years younger than me.
Now I have my own son, I really enjoy that feeling of making it magical and exciting for him, too. I love his little face on Christmas morning. I love organising it all with my bf - it really brings families together.
And the food.... Mmmmmmmm
I think Christmas is all about kids, and they should be allowed to enjoy it to the utmost while their innocence lasts!
