I'm a fair-skinned Asian and I've tried so many types of foundations but they come out pinkish. I wanted to know which shade of Bare Minerals would work the best on me or if anyone could tell me the name of a good make-up line that has foundation with yellow undertones.

I use Bare Minerals and LOVE it. You need to go to a boutique, Sephora, etc where they sell the minerals and be tested. Dip a q-tip in the foundation and make a line on your jaw. Use the color that matches.
*Medium Beige - a perfect medium, failsafe colour for most White, Mediterranean or light Asian skin

There are places that you can purchase samples. www.colorfulsprinkles.com is my favorite place.
Delphi also has a BE Addicts forum which is great.
If you order from qvc.com, you can return your purchase within 30 days.
The minerals are like nothing else. I no longer have to struggle with makeup- I'm incredibly fair with a lupus related rash on my face. The minerals cover the rash without looking caked on.
I highly recommend checking out colorfulsprinkle.com and the Delphi Forum.

Good luck
Nicole

I am fair with strong yellow undertone as well. I use Light. I do not care for BE a lot, so I use Everyday Minerals, which is a much better quality and much cheaper than BE. Try Everydayminerals.com. Also, as a bonus, you can choose the coverage in this line. You could choose matte or semi-matte or ... Also, the company sends samples for free, so you can determine what shade is best for you before you commit to purchase.

If you're near either a Bare Escentuals boutique or Sephora, stop in and they'll be able to help you find the right match, if you can try it on then walk around to make sure you like it, then go back and buy it. It sounds like you could wear either Light or Medium Beige, both have yellow undertones.
Good luck!

I never used Bare Minerals - I would say just order samples from someone who is selling them. As for yellow based undertones, I believe Lancome and Loreal (which are both owned by Loreal) have more yellow based colors. Try them out! :-)

You could also try Mary Kay if you know someone who sells it. They seem to have updated their color selection.
