trisomy 18 or edward syndrome.she is due to have an amneo soon what are the chances of the baby being ok?

I had my last child at 38. I had the chance of having these tests too but said no because invasion by a needle could cause an abortion. My daughter was born just fine and has a boyfriend and they are planning a family. A baby comes along for a reason.

75% not that it matters. Why is she going to have the test?
Does she plan to kill the baby if it shows a problem? Is she willing to end a life on a 25% chance that there is someting "wrong" with it?

Without being rude didn't you say that the baby has 25% chance of having one of these things doesn't that mean that the baby has a 75% chance of being fine!!!
