Hate to say it, seeing as I'm an American myself (living abroad) but the Americans are asleep in our morning. A lot of American children get on at night and ask questions about their homework and friends and makeup....etc...

You are generally right. Those who can hold up a good intellectual discussion generally get up earlier then those who have to over sleep until noon. It's the same with shopping in the high street. If you want to avoid all the idiots, go shopping before 11am.

This is of course a general idea from experience. There are still many childish answers and questions floating around, but maybe, we always look for what we want to see. We only see what we want to. Maybe you expect the childish ones in the afternoon and maybe you expect the naughty ones in the evening so you come to expect that pattern to take place. But there are a lot of signs that your assumption is correct, but if you decided (and really believed) in the childish Q&A in the morning are also frequent, then you will find them. They will stick out because you want to find them.

I may be wrong, but this is my understanding as to how people's awareness and ability to relate to a specific belief system wil manifest all that is put before us. (remember that your belief will play out in your time zone. it's night time in American now, and other time zones will bring in different "clientelle".) - so your belief system has a lot to do with your assessment.

example: i discovered the word "biotope" last week. ( I slept through science class as you can see) but since then, everybody seems to have seen the word, heard it being said many times, simply because I am now aware of its existence.

Point out your mistakes.....well at least two spelling, three punctuation faux pas and a couple of dodgy grammatical errors. That answer goes to prove that you are correct about know it alls and pedants always being about though!

I told you before it is 'know it all' not 'no it all'. The phrase pokes fun at people's apparent KNOWLEDGE of everything not at their apparent NEGATIVE ATTITUDE to everything. I will overlook all your other mistakes this time but I think you should write out 'know it all' 100 times when lessons have ended instead of going straight home to mummy and daddy to tell them all about the nasty intellectuals.
