Recurring dreams most often occur due to anxiety or some unresolved issue that you push to the back of your mind , your subconcious takes over while you sleep (cause your defenses are down)and plays it out for the sake of your sanity.its not dangerous to wake up sleep walkers its an old wives tale. the worst is they might be a bit confused or disoriantaited another misconception is sleep walkers cant injure themselves they can people have even been known to drive while sleepwalking a myoclonic twitch is a muscle contraction like when you feel like your falling usually when your drifting into sleep its from the brain and the muscles getting a bit out of sinc while the body is shutting down for sleep also it can be your leg twitching an kicking while your trying to get to sleep i always got that when i was pregnant it drives you nuts but its a good excuse if you fancy booting the boyfriend and want to get away with it (as if id do that HaHA) you only remember dreams if youve woken up in REM sleep the other cycles of sleep erase the memory of what you were dreaming about you dream about every 90 miutes even if you dont remember i dont know about universal dream symbols some believe some dont but i do believe your dreams are open to interpretation if you think hard enough most times you can come up with what they symbolise concerning your personal circumstances PHEW ive never given such a long answer think i like your silly questions, that was hard work typing with one finger

I think what causes recurring is maybe fear or a memory also certain things with the body like where you are falling i beleive has been described as when your blood pressure goes down or something like that. I think when you wake me a sleepwalker they get angry. I believe most people have 20 dreams a night (apparently if i remember correctly) however it's very hard to even remember 3 of thoose... theres lots of dreams you'll never know you had.

I think dreams reoccur when they are about an issue in your life that is not resolved. I don't know the answer to your next four questions. oops and I know that myoclonic twitches are when the body suddenly starts or jerks just as going to sleep. Some people get the sensation that they are falling at that time. That's all I got.

Recurring dreams can be extremely informative and important to decipher. Your subconscious mind has gone to a great deal of trouble to send the same "dream telegram" several times, and it will generally continue to do so until you recognize the insight being offered, or outgrow the issue being addressed. Often these dreams recur for a discrete period of time, such as during childhood, adolescence, college years, or during a specific relationship or period of employment. If you outgrow or move away from a certain lifestyle you may stop having the recurring dream, unless something in your current situation strikes a similar emotional chord from your past; then the dream may resurface, like an emotional "home movie" of certain feelings and moods.

You are in a state of unconsciousness, so as a sleepwalker, you are deeper in the state and waking them up can lead serious consequences. It's hard to remember your dreams, because, again, you're in a state of unconsciousness. Just think, you you got knocked unconscious, you would remember the time before getting hit and the time when you wake up. Nothing inbetween. But that is DEEP unconsciousness, whereas when we dream we go into shallow unconsciousness so it's a bit more easier to remember.

I tend to remember my dreams. Often I dream of someone I hadn't thought of or seen for years, and at some point in the following week I see them. This is a regular occurance. Freaky eh?!
