Why is Wodehouse not popular any more?

i love to read p.g. woodhouse i have his full collection of books. his style of writing is unique. now a days who has time to read books ? reading for pleasure is not there anymore. because of other entertainments like movies, t,v. computer games etc. i wish somebody does p.g.woodhouse stories as t v serial it will become very popular. his books are still popular in India. my kids read them. my father introduced them to woodhouse.books.

He is still popular in India where am at. I was at a book fair the other day and I could see people buying lots of his books. I myself bought two. There are still active yahoo groups and Orkut communities and such.
