probably. since being a doctor in people's eyes is a great job so most people tend to link getting a partner who's a doctor.

i come from a family of doctors: sisters, in-laws, relatives, friends. i dont recall any of them having more than their share of bf/gf just because of their profession. it's actually the other way around-- they get less bf/gf because they can't party or go out too much to meet the opposite sex because they need to set aside a lot of time for studying. my sister married a classmate. her friends did, too. those who graduated from med school without getting married found it hard to find a mate because they're not young anymore-- age does count to some.
one's profession might play a tiny role in the dating process, but that's just it. it's the personality that counts most in the end. lucky guy if he can have all three: looks, personality AND a good paying career, but that shouldn't be a prerequisite in finding a guy.

you're asking two questions but you answer one of them yourself...why'd you ask it? (the first question was whether they get more girls or not; the second question was what's the reason for getting the girls.) do they get more girls? i don't know. if they do, why would they? probably a combination of money, status (good, respected job), and they have the contact. the more shots they get at getting a girl, the more shots they'll make

I work for physicians day in day out, honey. They're all the same. They'll try their luck with you, but you have to ignore it as 99.9999999999999% of them are married. They try it on with me, but in the end it gets on my nerves, because it's not genuine.

He may get a lot of girls... but obviously they aren't staying. So while they may be lured by the money, his personality must be leaving something to be desired. Sad.

I don't think it's more or less. I'm sure they attract certain women that are looking for that kind of prestige....that other men can't give them.

Quite frankly, I would hate to date a physician. Think about it, you'd be like his own personal guinea pig. No thanks.
