Are you inexplicably drawn toward a certain country you've never been to?

And I mean: For no good reason you could possibly find logical? Just as an example: I have this weird longing for both Belgium and Uruguay. I've been to both, and couldn't say they were in any conceivable way more interesting or sensational than where I'm from, but they still exude this magical pull on me.
I'm looking for people who experience the same.
Do you have a strangely metaphysical home place that seems to be beckoning you?
What is it, if I may ask?

Oh yes, something similar has happened to me this year. A place I had never even considered going to before... then my mother suggested it as a travel destination and I looked at pictures on the Internet... and yes, they were beautiful, so that could be a rational explanation, but there was something much more powerful that I couldn't explain that made me want to travel there and nowhere else in the world. When I got there, it felt strangely like coming home, although I had never been there before and although everything was rationally unfamiliar to me there. Throughout the trip I was asking myself "how can I stay here", though reason says I wouldn't want to (civil war, low income...), and at the end of it I felt totally estranged from my own life and everything in it.

funny you should ask, i am pulled more toward a city in north amerca. i've also been there quite often but not in the past 15 years. i dream or astro travel there in my dreams too often to mention. it is new york. i lived there when i was 8 yrs. old for the summer with my since passed tio. my dreams of new york are so for real that i can smell it when i'm there, and everytime i awaken i remember exactly what went on, so unusual. thanks for asking, have a good day...

I've always had this pull on me for China, but I don't want to go there :S
Other than that, Canada, it's always pulling me, I was born there and lived there for 7 years but I don't want to go back, I hate that place, my family are obsessed with it. It's so lame, it's no better than the UK except you get more snow.
