There is no case.
As has been said, it was a fictional movie. It was filmed to look like a documentary, and they did a fine job, but it was just a movie. They hired the actors and gave them a few basic lines, etc. but most of the movie was ad-libbed. They put them in the woods with cam-corders and told them "This is what we want from this scene..." and they just did it.
If you look at the credits at the end you will see plainly that it is just a movie.

for some reason couldn't take my eyes off the movie, and the very last second of it spooked the hell out of me! didn't know it was a real case.

people If he liked the movie and all you have to say is stupid stuff why bother?I think its a cult classic .I was scared but at the same time i felt mad at them like oh no dont do that.I would like to know more about it too.
