Lets Say u live in Ontario there was no contracts regarding this also,u work for 4 different temp agencies and they all pay u every week.So the situation is u work for 2 dqays and u have to wait for three weeks just for the two days (the end of the week)Not to mention there is no name of the agency on the paystub!

Holding a check is an anti-employee offense because compensation should immediately be released. Under the law, salaries should be given promptly after two weeks or half month of work.

In the U.S., I've never heard of such a thing. The temp agencies work for the people that you temped for so they get paid no matter what. Sounds to me like you need to look into that with the public officials where you live.

depends on state law and the contract you signed with them when you first started
