I'm an Indian. well maybe u think that I'm superstitious, but no I'm not. what most people don't know is that many of our so called superstitions really have scientific reasoning to back them up. but i don't deny that there are really some superstitions which do not have any reason. the thing is that since we don't know the reasons for many things we think it is a superstition. but try thinking a little or try analyzing the so called superstition carefully. U'll usually come up with a good reason yourself.

No way will I walk under a ladder especially if someone is up it.. Must be all those comics I used to read. Opening an umbrella inside and putting shoes on a table or chair are another two I have a problem with. Does this make me a saddo or what??????

When the kettle rocks some ones on their way to visit.
Don't walk under ladders.
Never put new shoes on the table.
Salute the magpies and black birds.
A bird in the house means a death.
Friday the 13th.
And never look a c0ck eyed bloke straight in the eye, it'll make you laugh.

None. I mean what can seriously happen if you step on the cracks in the pavement? I do it all the time and I'm OK. I reckon superstitions are just stories told to children to make them be good. We just carry on believing them because they were so deeply instilled in us.

Those people, who fear something unknown and it cannot be explained, are usually superstitious. In fact, I don't believe
in superstition and I trust in God who commands us in His
righteous ways. Please refer to the Holy Bible for guidance
and do not let superstition overcome you!
