My 15 year old cousins myspace account is set on private. How do i set it on not private?

Because your cousin is a minor, Myspace will not permit it to be set as public. This is done to protect minors from predators. Recently, Myspace was sued because a young girl was molested by a sexual predator she met on Myspace. So either your cousin will have to deal with the privacy setting or lie about their age. You should be thankful for the private setting considering what kind of wierd individuals roam the internet searching for young kids to do evil things to.

It is not possible even if she sets her age to 99 it will not become public until she is 16 years old myspace take the youngest date of birth entered and will wait till that date of birth reaches 16, the only way around it is to set up a new profile and use a fake date of birth, however it is there for a good reason and as it is only the maxium of a year just let her wait it out. Sorry but that is the truth and it can be found buried someplace in the myspace help or terms and conditions

You would have to hack into their account and change the setting.
