i might have got the name of the town wrong, all i know is there is a ice cave seperating to towns and i cant get from one to the other. the first of the towns is right by the lake of rage

i'm not going to give a direct answer, so sorry about that..
there are a few hard parts in there. one of them actually has the whirlpool HM if i'm not mistaken. there is one part where you are on dry land and there is one rock... you need to push the boulder into a hole (all four, actually, need to go in 4 different holes)
just keep trying, you can't get in fights unless on dry land, so there's not really many interuptions.
and 2pacs fan... regardless if you think nothing is in there (though there is an important HM in there) it still is the only way to get to the next town

Well, first of all, get ur pokemon learn strength. thn go through the ice path.. it's slippery so be careful.. when u reach to a big art of ice cave whr thr are rocks and all... try shifting therocks or using thm to reach the other town..

There isn't really anything there. I tried it before there is nothing in there or at least nothing very useful.
