I enjoy it from time to time, but i have noticed that it has altered my behaviours sometimes - like opening certain types of doors etc - i have effectively revcieved unasked for electroshock treatment!!!

it's fun though to rub my feet across the floor and then shock my husband with a fingertip in winter.
or when shaking someone's hand. . .

If u take a key and hold it secure in hand and touch the door the spark jumps from the key and u feel nothing. Don't discredit static electricity too much ,lightning is its first cousin.

I HATE it when I build static electricity!! At the job I worked at before the doorknob was metal and I ALWAYS shocked myself and it hurt like hell!! Everyone thought I was wierd cause I always twitched when I reached for the door to open it!!! HORRIBLE!!!

I experience this every day at work. It hasn't affected me but now for some strange reason I have this sexual fixation with grounded metal objects.
