The very very very slight danger of using a condom is far better than the serious danger of getting pregnant or an std.

You need to specify the danger. From pregnancy, STD's, HIV? Yes and no. Condoms can rupture or leak. If you can prevent that, you're safe. If you can't, then you need to look to some other form of contraception or practice abstinece (it's the only 100% effective protection against pregnancy and STD's).
In rare cases, there are people who are alergic to latex. For them, they have to use lamb skin or some other condom material, but these only protect agains pregnancy.

There are three; allergic reaction to latex, and allergic reaction to spermicide. By the way, the latex matricies or lattace are not not small enough to prevent the AIDS/HIV virus from penetrating it - therefore it could literally flow out of it and into you! No condom is truly 100% effective, nor is any other form of protection for that matter.

The main reasons for using a condom are to prevent STD's and to prevent pregnancy. The main danger is their failure to prevent either. The danger of unprotected sex is infinitesimally higher.

technically - "Yes" there is a danger. One of which is that it can split during intercourse, however it can protect both partners from transmitting any STDs that they may have.
I believe condoms have may plus points over that one negative one.
BTW: whats all that "god" spiel about from "If GOD B4ME" ???
