The N70 is bulky and boring. The nokia ringtone is the only one which plays depite my selecting different ringtones. The gallery is generalized and doesnt offer folder options either. Im considering buying the Moto V3i but am a little apprehensive coz i've always been a Nokia user all my life. Would it be difficult to adapt to the Moto? And would I be missing out on any Important features if I decide to swtich ??? All info would be helpful. Cheers!

I have a motorazr v3 with me.It has low vedio quality.low camera resolution, the image quality is very blurry,no good speakers and sound. It doesnt offer much memory space for voice recording.
It looks visually stunning though, sleek and slender.
My friend has N70.I have never seen more cooler phone.Yeah,it doesnt look that impressive but the vedio quality is crystal clear and the sound is so loud and clear.
Sony erricson phones have got both looks and features.Go for them.

Nokia has one of the best user interface. N70 is symbian and in case you don't know, by typing in the name of the person, you can auto call without having to searchthe phone book or enter the number (if the name is in your phone book).

Motorola is less user friendly. I used a V3 and had problems with phone book management. The text function is also less friendly. I suspect you would take a while to adapt.

Have you considered Ericsson? They are catching up on user friendliness. But I have problems with their phonebook that don't support 2nd alpha search (some ppl say this has been fixed). New SE tend to be less buggy than the recent Nokias.

Think about Nokia 6280 if you want to stick to Nokia.

Note that I'm biased towards slider phones - I think they are one of the best creation of late although when you slide too hard, sometimes the phone switches off :P

Bottom line : if you have a chance, try out the V3i before you buy. Phones have very poor resale value !

The most annoying thing about changing from Nokia to Motorola is that typing text messages is different. Although the V3i uses T9 dictionary as well you have to press other keys to enter a space or send the message. When I started using the V3i this year after being a Nokia user for 10 years, the first dozens of messages I sent usually were gibberish and sent after two or three words because I pressed the wrong key.

But you will get used to it. ;o) I don't miss any features but I don't need much of them anyway.
