I put ALL the blame on Clinton who allowed Saddam to rewrite his own peace treaty 13 times.

I think you mean Carter is partly to blame for Iran today - Iraq did not make us look bad in the 70's. Reagan was probably more responsible for Iraq because it was he who supported Iraq as an opponent to Iran. However, I - like most people who paid attention to the situation back then - agreed for the most part of playing Iraq again Iran. I don't believe Carter or Reagan did a bad job with Iraq. Carter should have given the go ahead on the rescue of the hostages in Iran however. That looked stupid.

No. IT WAS CLINTON ALL THE WAY, That boob had more folks fooled into thinking he actually did something as president, no foreign plicy, lay off's, did nothing but open the gates to 911, you do the math:
USS COLE is hit, Clinton says the people who did this will be punished - HE DID NOTHING !
U.S Embassy Bombed in Africa: HE DID NOTHING !
bombing Aspirin factory's in the dessert
Illegal war in KOSOVO (we're there illegally, still there, how come nobody talks about that)
HE DID NOTHING ! Except get head in the office from a fat 20 yr old intern (now that's a good decision), and don't say that all presidents did that, thats the usual Clintonite B.S. ! and don't say that the economy was good with Clinton, he just rode the shirt tails of "Reaganomics" until the lay offs came back, OH YEA, we had lay offs with clinton in office.. REMEMBER !
1st WTC attack he did'nt even stop by NY to see if everyone was ok, now we can't get rid of him.

Carter is 100% to blame for Iran! Responsible for the worst economy since the Great Depression, gave away the Panama Canal, basically set-up the assassination of Anwar Sadat, and facilitated North Korea's nuclear program.

This has absolutely nothing to do with what happened and is happening. I'm not a Carter fan, but he is not the blame. The blame is oil, and the wells that Saddam set on fire were mostly daddy Bush's wells. The Bush family owns the mineral rights to oil wells from Iraq and into Kuwait. This was general knowledge not too long ago and I notice all references to the family oil holdings are gone now. Daddy Bush vowed to get even with Saddam and he is doing just that. Before W. Bush went into his second term, this was disclosure information provided by him. Now it's like it never existed.

I think if you are going to go that far back then you have to blame every other presd. since Carter. Regan, Bush Sr. (maybe he should have kicked their butts the 1st time and not let Saddam go), Clinton, and Bush Jr. So if Carter is to blame then so is everyone else for not fixing it along the way!

Definately partly. It was during his administration the Shaw of Iran left in exile and the terrorists, which includes their current president, took hostages after attacking our embassy.

I really didn't like Carter as President but I don't think he is to blame for Iraq today...He is the greatest "Peacemaker" the US has ever known...He's a Democrat and I'm a Republican...it hurts me to have anything good to say about a democrat but he really is a good man...he just wasn't a good president...

I don´t. That seems like a real stretch, as though someone were looking for someone else to blame. Are you thinking of the coup d´etat against the Shah in neighboring Iran?

I do. Carter was an awful president. And his actions even today do more to harm America.
He should be ashamed of himself.
