This question has always amused me.
Men want sex but call women slappers, prostitutes or anythng else derogatory. They're so confused, they don't know what they really want. Most men seem to want sex without any ties. The fact that they need a woman to provide it makes them resentful. They resent the woman they marry because they want their freedom and find marriage boring.
Actually, what they really want is to live with their mothers and have sex on the side with a string of infertile girlfriends. All of whom are wealthy.
Some men, by the way. If you want a man who wants a proper life, hang on to him.

i think people in general are confused about what they want. there used to be very gender specific roles but now there arent. men are no longer the 'providers' and i think yes they do want committed relationships etc but as relationships are now 'equal' they need to find a way to feel 'manly' also i think that society doesn't really call for them to grow up as fast as it used to so they get into relationships and still want to live as young lads - having the single life with their mates and coming home to their gf's

another thing is their mothers. i have a fair amount of experience with mothers babying their sons, making them feel they are invincible.they can do what they want and not have to face up to the responsibility.

in whole i dont think men know what they want because there are so may different views on what is right, and at what age whether its from their mates, their family or their girlfriends they think they can do all of it - the single life, the pampered life and the relationship

Well this is the greatest mystery of the universe... and us women will spend the rest of our lives finding out.

To stab a guess at this though, I would say, nothing too different from women.... other than a lifetimes subscription to FHM and sole possession of the tv remote control.

As usual, men all get thrown into the same melting pot.
We are all as different as snowflakes.
I asked a friend of mine what he wanted, and he didn't know- but then again,he is a lesbian...............
Me? I want a 1969 Ford Mustang Mach1 and a pint of real ale.
A gentlemen of simple pleasures..........

My opinion is....

Men want someone who looks after them, but someone they can also look after.

They want to feel "supported" by their partner, without making it obvious to the outside world.

The outside world should NEVER NEVER know that you took your man soup in bed when he had a cold, or that he cried on your shoulder when his kitten died...

Yet this is what they want to be occuring while indoors. Outdoors, the image of the "strong man looking after my woman" should always be upheld.

I'm not being insulting, by the way, it is just that in my experience, this seems to be how it goes.

To have a decent income,a good looking and fun girlfriend, good mates who they can drink under the table and ultimately (ALTHOUGH UNREALISTIC) to watch England beat Germany in the world cup final!
And actually thinking about it ,to be considered a good lover and hung like a donkey-lies from girlfriends are accepted on this issue!!!!! I hope this helps.
