I prefer a pond. Why? Because it is serene, and therefore idyllic. It is home to many species of flora and fauna. It is friendly to dragonflies, frogs and other insects. Waterlilies also abound in ponds. One can sit along its banks and read or just think. Its serenity and quiet will really calm the mind and nourish the soul.
