I think that everyone turns into a kid again around the holidays, so there shouldn't be that much difference in a teenager's Christmas party and an adult's or kid's party. Serve some good snacks, decorations, and play Christmas music. If you want to splurge maybe you can give away gift bags with cds and dvds that teenagers would like. You can also serve non-alcoholic martinis and make the party formal.

I'd build it right where I live now. Two story log cabin with a porch that wraps around two sides, and one side connects to a double layer deck. It'd be spacious and roomy but not too big. A room for each of my children, one for me and my husband, a kitchen, dining room, two bathrooms, laundry room, office, and a small gym. I want several of the rooms to be up in a loft...so you could see down into the living room and the living room would have a very high ceiling. Oh, and it has to have a fire place. I live in the South US, btw. And I don't want to move anywhere else.

I would build a for-real castle (on the outside) with a moat and drawbridge, etc. The interior would be super modern, about 4000 square feet. I´d have to have a central keep or at least one turret taller than the others (to put my office in.) I´d build it right by where I live, in a field. This is crazy, but I´m serious. My wife hates this idea (of course!)

Definately have a wrap around porch. Two story. 3 car garage. MAYBE Seperate apartments or wings for my 3 kids. LOL

Family room, dining room, LARGE/HUGE kitchen with every imaginable cooking tool. Living room with fireplace. Main floor laundry room. AT least 5 bedrooms. SEVERAL bathrooms Full & 1/2 baths. LOTS & LOTS of room and storage!

OoO fun. I would make mine stucco. I liketh the stucco. It would be uber big. With a circular drive and a nice lawn. I like expensive, 1800 look a like furniture (not the real thing because that would be smelly, like museums uck). maybe a room dedicated to every major culture. Good art in the halls. Lots of windows, very classy staircases. Um. Yeah. As to where, some place far, far away from the beach. I do not like salt in ma hair.

My dream house would be huge because it would not be for me. It would be a homeless shelter for people that were down on their luck and need a fresh start. Everyone would have their own apartment. There would be an employment office to help them find a job. A food bank to get food, and a place to get cheap clothes. An education office for those who want it. It would not matter where I built it because anyone who need it would be welcomed.

It would be built in canada with lots of storage space, and two bedrooms, 1 enormous library, 1 art room with lots of light, a dark room for photography , large kitchen with lots of neat gadgets, and plenty of room for friends to drop by for a snack , a meal and lots of good times, an exercise room, a tv room with lots of tvs so you could have lots of channel on at the same time so you could skip commercials. a swimming pool in the back yard and a wonderful flower garden that I could see from my art room. a large space so I could have a business at home and could enjoy my home instead of working away from it. A play room for my little girl . It would have my murels on walls all over the house hopefully so good that everyone would envy me them.
and it would have 2 or 3 rooms for people to crash at my home if they just need to get away or were down on their luck and needed a place to stay until they got on their feet.

I'd like a house that is largely underground. Have a ground floor, of course, but the majority would be underground. There would be secret passages everywhere. It would be awesome.

And no, it would not be in America. It would probably be somewhere in Europe.
