Why do people wear a mustache? Do you? Explain!

Why indeed.
I think it is because we somehow associate a moustache with being masculine. So people who wear a moustache must have a desire to show themself as being more masculine then if they had to be without a moustache. I mean, women can't grow a moustache and a shaved face is closer to that of a women then a fully beared man in his natural state. A moustache is also more comfortable than a full beard, which can be hot and bothersome, especially in warm climates.

It's an 80's style and many men used to wear that back then. Maybe they're trying to bring the 80's style back! It is a symbol of strength and masculinity but however personally I don't like mustaches today. It's my belief though.

For a man, he should wear a mustache because it makes
him look masculine and the thicker the mustache the better.
In fact, I am wearing a mustache and it looks on me.

I'm female, but I have a guy friend who has a mustache. He thinks it makes him look manlier. My brother wears it to look older.
The same thing goes with a goatee and a beard... They do it because they think they look manlier, older, or cooler. If they're younger, anyway. I think older people have them because it just suits their face, or they don't like to take all the time to shave.

I happen to think they look ridiculous on women.
I do like them on many men. Some guys just look good with them. Not all, but some.

it kinda hides an overbite and it keeps snot out of your mouth if your nose runs -- also one less place to have to shave
