I ask this question out of pure curiosity. I didn't mean for it to offend anyone. :)

Here's an example: Remember John Woo's question? He's a pretty well-known person, and so is Cindy Crawford. Their questions have attracted a lot more answers than those asked by ordinary folk like us.

Most of the people who tend to answer to such questions want to show that they also think/ care on the similar lines as that high profile person......We have this tendency to ape things from such personalities without thinking whether it is good or bad..or what it really means...

What do you mean by high status? Like a doctor?
I think the kinds of questions that tend to attract more answers are straight forward and to the point. They may also be a bit controversial.

How can you tell a person's status by the fact they asked a question? And I don't mean to offend you. If a question is clearly worded, as yours is, I assume that people would be faster to answer.

It is always the mass following tendency, tht anybody tends see and hear people higher than them, for it can be anybody, any public idol.
This tendency can also be seen in day to day life, in your college for example the guy/gal who is famous is always followed or heard.

Because of the feeling whatever they do is always right, thts why they are where they are.

I'm not sure what you're referring to. I've not noticed such a trend. But there sure are a lot of idiots who can't even spell here. I'd presume they get fewer answers.

Haven't noticed. How can you tell when someone has high status? No one knows anyone here.
