Psoriasis is a disease that takes place when the body’s immune system mistakenly believes healthy skin cells to be enemy cells and starts to produce many more new cells to replace these cells. This is the reason why there is no cure for psoriasis and medications applied to treat psoriasis are only able to remove the symptoms temporarily. Don't go the "cream route", it's only just a waste of time and money. Been there Done that!
You need to read "Psoriasis Free For Life" by Katy Wilson if you want to cure your psoriasis for good. Available online also @ http://www.psoriasisforeverfree.com It's a book that shows you how to cure psoriasis naturally in a few days. I cured my psoriasis permanently in 6 days after reading this book. Good luck!

I had a 13 year history of psoriasis, though I was in good health otherwise. But these severe large, thick and scaly excoriated plaques on my neck, ears, trunk and limbs ruined the way I was leading my life. I would be with red, inflamed itchy skin for most part of the year and these silvery scales would seem to be erupting without any reason. To make matters worse, blisters would appear over already red and itching skin. It was living hell.
I was treated with various options but nothing seemed to be working. Some of the treatments that I underwent in this depressing period of 13 years included tar preparation, tropical steroids and anthralin. I was also given light therapy many times but everything I tried would give me temporary relief.
And soon, after a few days I would be plagued with the situation again. In one of those moments when I was completely lost I stumbled upon this website just by chance. I read it and felt that as if someone had put the story my life on this web page. I was thoroughly convinced that if ANYONE can cure me of condition, it would be you.
And was I right, or what. I started recovering within 3 days of starting this treatment. Something that had become a painful part of me for 13 years was actually getting healed! My ears are healed and my neck is smooth again!. I am a month into the treatment and I have never felt better in my life!

I've never found a cure in any research I've done. I have had some skin issues (not psoriasis) but some drying and have used different prescriptions, shampoos, ointments, etc. The best help I have found for the dry skin is Vitamin E both pill and liquid applied topically. Since I've been taking Vitamin E capsules I have noticed a marked improvement over the past month with a problem I've been dealing with for nearly 4 years. I believe zinc is good for the skin as well. You might check out some websites with information about natural remedies. It seems that adding chemical preparations to the skin cause more harm than good. It's a hard thing to have to deal with, isn't it? I hope you find this helpful.

Although not generally accepted by the more 'orthodox' branches of medicine, psoriasis along with every other sort of skin eruption can be cured in one and only one way. Diet.
Emolient creams and the like may serve to ameliorate some of the sympomatic indications, redness, flaking or hardening of skin, scaly patches etc. but do nothing to treat the underlying cause, which is a build of of toxins within the body.
Diet, and clearly I'm not talking about a weight loss programme, rather a way-of-life style of eating is the surest way to eliminate this disease, albeit that it may take many months of correct eating habits to fully eradicate the problem. Some early sucesses will be evident more quickly however, clearer though, mood elevation, more energy etc.
Find and study all the information you can by Dr William Howard Hay, MD. on 'The Hay System'. He produced numerous books in the early 1920s 'Superior Health Through Nutrition' being about the most thorough. More recent exponents are Jean Joyce and Doris Grant - A Modern look at The Hay System published by THorsons in Wellingborough, England, and while she does not admit it, Dr Gillian McKeith of You Are What You Eat fame bases her whole programme on his food combining principles.
Feel free to email me if you would like to know more.
Good luck and very best wishes.

Psoriasis is a symptom, not a disease. The underlying cause is to do with the body's immune system and the trigger varies from person to person. Stress is usually a factor. The only cure is to find out what causes the problem.
There are various treatments for reducing the symptoms, but these all have side effects. Interfering with the immune system is always a problem.
Topical steroids (cream) can reduce the symptoms, but long term steroid use can have its own problems.
PUVA (ultra violet light) treatment is also effective but there is a small risk of it triggering skin cancers.
Mustine (the liquid form of mustard gas) can also clear the skin, but this can lead to circulation problems.

I know several people who have psoriasis. They use prescription creams, although E45 cream sometimes helps with milder flare-ups. I don't think there's a cure for psoriasis. You probably need to seek the advice of a Dermatologist if you haven't already

YES definitely psoriasis is curable.
Their is a CURED case for your reference.
WHO has defined Health as a state of Physical, Mental, Social and SPIRITUAL well being. Hence the ill health (we can say the cause of ill health or disease) will also be classified into same criteria. BUT unfortunately, Modern Medicine is negligent in considering the last and the most important cause that is SPIRITUAL.
Here is a link that explains how the cause can be spiritual and so will be the treatment.

please do respond to me if you find this useful and get some results.
Wish you a speedy recovery.......

I have psoriasis, have had it for years and have tried all sorts of lotions and potions. I find that if you look after yourself well, eat healthy and exercise, natural sunlight is better than going on a sunbed and go and take some natural supplements, it will ease it. Mine has gone now from my external, but unfortunately i have got it as a form of arthritis now, psoriatic arthropathy, so if i were you i would go and talk to your doctor about different treatments as i wouldnt wish this on anyone.

I have it and I once read a magazine where someone recommended taking zinc tablets, and believe me they have made such a difference . You can buy them from supermarkets in the vitamin section and they cost next to nothing. I hope you give them a try and they help you as much as they've helped me.They are not a cure, nothing is but they are a big help.
