When we travelled in Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland in 2000, my husband must have tasted every beer produced in each country! He 'fell in love with' Guinness and although we live in Canada, he pays the extra money to get it! It must be very good--so Guinness all the way here!

It seems to be where you go to get the pint. In general, I find Guinness to be the soomthest, Beamish to be the best if you want a flavour, and Murphy's good if you want to drink pints really fast.

But I've gotten some really rotten pints from places that either don't replace their stout kegs as often, or have old pipes. There's nothing like a bad pint of Guinness to really turn your stomach, especially with that lovely metallic taste you can only get from a really old rusty pipe... yummmm... ;)

I like the Guinness, especially with the neat design the make on the head just before they give it to you.
