hmmm never really thought about that.
Im sure the cavemen named certain things... like uga would be lion... or whateva. ya know??

First of all the caveman came AFTER THE FLOOD! They were not the ignoramuses we are led to believe that they were. Think about it! The flood washed away all of the technology, factories, electricity, stores, plants, animals (except for the ones on the ark), and the people who knew the technology and how to run the factories and machines that made the food and the clothes, etc.
When the handful of people who were left got off the ark, there were no freeways, transportation, houses, stores, etc. Their only choice was to find shelter in caves. They certainly had a language. They were also limited to their individual skills and knowledge. The rest they had to figure out as they went along.

Dogs don't have language, right? But they think. If you say barking of dogs is a language, then maybe cavemen bark too.
