It is never ok, but sometimes kids overtake limits in , unpoliteness, dishonesty, falsity, and after a parent trys to explain a lot of times that such behavior is wrong and kids go on.. and patience is off limits.. it can happen that they can hit u.. but they do it due to they love u and try to teach u the right way..
Otherwhise there are others problems.. I don't know as alcoohlism, drugs.. (are they drunk?)
in this case look for the help of someone.. police, social service..
Think well what are u talking about.. look at ur behavior, and don't judge parents.. it is very difficult to be a kid.. but also to be a parent.. there are no instruction for anybody..

Who told you it was ok?
What kind of hitting are you talking about?
Spanking it not done all the time now a days. Most parents use time-outs.
Normally hitting you in the face or using objects to hit you is bad and should be reported.

Do you mean spankings? Spankings are fine when you are in elementary school, and you are being disciplined after you have done something wrong.
If you mean a beating, then it is never ok. Tell someone in authority like a teacher or police officer exactly what has been done to you.

a difficult question. My folks used to hit me when i did the wrong thing, it didnt hurt me any. It depends on the type of hittng, what are you being hit for? Where are you getting hit? Are you being disciplined through love or are you being hit in anger? If in anger, then never.

Disciplinary purposes. Anger? No. Never. A parent should never hit in anger. Discipline is done out of love.

Obviously kids need a hiding when they are naughty. it's a form of discipline duh!!! depends why and how u hit da kid. i get hit from my parents but it it is becoz they want to teach a lesson.
if yur not going to smack dem what r u goin to do ground them?,
deprive them of food?? come on. most kids that don't get hit have an attitude & aren't afraid of dem coz they know dey are not going to do a thing. they won't have any respect for dem. i luv my parents know matter how much they hit me coz i know they do it to put some sense into me. there u have it.

When you say something like "No I don't want to do what you say" or "**** you Dad." Basically the key here is when you talk back you get ****** up. Got it?
