I can take up to a year to get pregnant. It has to do with timing. Your egg is only good for a certain window of time each month.
Getting pregnant can be tricky. Stop trying. When you're 'trying' to get pregnant, you're stressed out, and stress does not help in getting pregnant.
My husband and I tried to conceive for over a year, and it didn't happen. We pretty much gave up, stopped trying. I was pretty depressed. So, I stopped thinking about it, quit my job, and in less than two months, I was pregnant. Stress really doesn't help. And if you smoke, stop. Smoking reduces your change of getting pregnant.
If you still haven't conceived after a year, see your doctor.

First question is how old are you? The older you are the odds of conceiving become greater.
Second you need to check the sperm count on your partner. It is an easy test that with check what his count and motility is.
After you find out what his count is and all is well, then you should see your gynocologist and have some basic blood work done. If all is fine then you basically have to have further testing done on yourself. Could be your tubes are blocked, could be bad timing etc. Usually doctors will not intervine until you have been trying for one year if you are under the age of 35 (I think that's the age) It might be 30. If over that age then they intervine within 6 months.
You have a 12 to 24 hour window of opportunity to conceive. You might be getting pregnant and unable to sustain the pregnancy due to hormones. Both of you get checked out and wish you the best of luck

time your sex. the easiest is to take daily temp BEFORE getting out of bed in the morning. the sudden dip of 1.5-2.5 degrees is the beginning of the ovulation and will last about 24-48 hours. the nearest day is about 13 or 14 of the cycle. if you are unsuccessful over the next 2-3 months, then definitely see a dr. it may be a simple problem, or a very serious one.
the thermometer is a special one and you'll have to ask for it ata drug store if they carry it. it is graduated in tenths of a degree but covers only about seven or eight degrees total.

There is only 24 hours your egg is good. so its not an easy task to do.you need to chart out your ovulation and figure out when your ovulating and have sex 3 days before and every day to 3 days after if you look up online there signs your ovulating you can look for. or get an ovulated predictor. Don't get up right after sex lay there for 30 minutes or go to bed. Best of luck will happen when the time is right.good luck

To get pregnant you must have sex on a day that your eggs are being released.
After the 3rd day from the day that menses started put a thermometer into your mouth and check your body temperature every morning before you start turning in bed. The best time is at about 4 a.m. Maintain a chart. You will find that on one day the body temperature drops from 1/2 degree to one degree. This is the day that your eggs are being released. If you want to get pregnant this is the day that you must have sex. Tell your husband to ejaculate on his inward thrust so that the sperms will shoot deep inside.
After having sex you must stay in bed for about 30 mins with your knees bent up with a pillow under your buttocks so that the sperms will not pour out - to enable them to travel up.
Get your husband to save his sperms in the testacles for at least 3 days before sex to enable them to mature well to do their job.
