To hide your feelings, you need to put things in perspective. If you convince yourself that there are more important things in the world than what is happening here and now then it is easier to be less emotional.
What is more important than the present? A number of things, such as your own self-worth, your family, your lover, your health the regrets you might have at the end of your life and who you are.
All these things are far more important than what is happening to you at the moment or in the next moment or the next.
There are few things that are worth your emotional involvement. Try to see becoming emotionally involved as a big investement you are only willing to make into the most important things in your life not just anything and everything. Your feelings are the most valuable thing that you can give, don't give them away easily.
Basically you need to keep calm under pressure, then you will feel less emotionally involved.

Been there done that give yourself some credit I am sure you are a good person you need an ego buster, go get your hair and nails done, have a message get a pedicure. Buy a new outfit. Never let your feeling build up because you will just go off one day and something bad will happen and you will regret it. It's good to have your on time but do something nice for yourself, it helps to try new things. Just remember that your worth something and are a good person and no one can take that away from you it's yours keep it. Good luck and I hope I gave you something to work with.

Simple way to do it....
1. Make sure everymorning you go for excercise.. eg. jogging.
2. Allow yourself to have 15 minutes of meditation after the excercise.
3. When you are at work or with anybody, just think of the greeneries in Australia, Scotland... etc.
4. Whenever you face difficulty or get scolded or somehow, DON'T answer is your best answer, remain smiley face and go away
Whatever it is, i guess your negative emotion is lack of motivation. Perhaps you may consider to take up some hobbies like kayaking, archering, golfing, jogging (is the best), Yoga.. and so on.

Paper bag? Nah I fee for you honey, I have the same problem too and it has got me into and out of a lot of sticky problems. Look at it a good way as you will always be honest. I try practicing in a mirror to see what my face does, if not sit at an angle so they don't see your whole face, that way it can give you a bit of a breather and they can't read you expression.

I am the same way .. when it comes to this. I don't have a answer but just be proud that you are a person that wears their heart on their sleeves. That you are not one to play games and a friend should really value that side of you.
Good luck on the new job..

If you cant .. you cant....but then your emotional openness is probably one of the things that makes you popular so dont worry about it...use this sort of thing to your advantage .. if people can see your feelings they will trust you implicitly and that is a rare trait in a person!
If people take advantage or dont appreciate this then you are talking to the wrong people!

Why would you want to hide your feelings? I am terribly sensitive also. I have learned to deal with it over the years. Finally I gave up and quit trying to hide and now I am a much happier person. Good luck.

What sort of job are you going for that requires you to be 'poker' faced? you are human, you need to be happy in the work you do, not poker faced.
