If you're not sure, I would definitely say that you shouldn't do it. It is degrading in a subtle way, even if you avoid the obvious effects of it, and the culture surrounding it has a way of sucking people in.
More to the point, money at most places is usually pretty weak, and I've known a number of people to get depressed after working at them for a short while, as well as becoming more cynical and superficial.

No profession seemingly is bad or blasphemic. It all settles down to what you are capable of doing and perhaps what you can do best with what you have.
I came across an exotic dancer once who claimed to make more than an accountant in a big firm, a manager of a bank or an eminent businessman. If that is what you like, then the dance floor is your stage and the props are your lyrics. Throw them at us.. ;-)

I think the "bad" part of stripping is the loss of self respect. Stripping is an invitation to every pervert to mentally molest and rape. Stripping announces that the person thinks little of themselves therefore gives it away and in essence grants others permission to think little of them too. Now I'll ask a question. How would you feel if you had a child and strangers were allowed to handle that child, examine that child. Since they are strangers they could be anyone - rapists, molesters, murders, pedophiles, etc. I wonder how God feels when His children do not see their worth and right to be honored. Maybe He cries when they give themselves away. To Him we are precious treasures.
