There is no other common word in english that end in gry. There are some uncommon words, like aggry, or unless you wanted to use gry as a word itself. But otherwise, trick question

My dad's friend, who writes cryptic crossword puzzles in his spare time, told me the whole story, including Ray's explanation, then he wheeled off four or five other words ending in -gry, just off the top of his head, that I think he uses sometimes.
