someone tried to convince me that Oprah is a coconut, she is black but she acts as if she's white, that bad shows are mostly about black people and how she treated that black lady who thought she "was used up" as compared to the sympathy she showed the white lady on tha show about prostitution.
Also tell me why do you think there are always more whites than blacks in the audience.

The issue that Oprah treats her dogs as if they are her kids,is that also why one would think she wishes she were white?

Oh lord have mercy the questions that are posted on this thing! Oprah/her dogs/ wishes she was white...what the he** does someone who loves their dogs, who has no children, have to do with being caucasion. A coconut, well there's a new one! I am white, and believe Oprah worked her tail off to get where she is, not just being a woman of color, but a woman Period!! We only see one hour of that show, the producers etc. have all the history on the guests who appear, maybe she got annoyed because of what we weren't privilage to know, or perhaps she got annoyed cause if she could grow up in poverty and pull herself out of it, then why can't one of her black sisters do the same. Who knows....She is a Billionare, she is not up worrieng what anyone thinks of her here, I guarantee that!

The real issue here is are you jealous that she is who she is and you're here asking stupid questions like these about her?
Whether she's black or white or purple, shouldn't we rather concentrate on the good that she's brought to both blacks and whites? you gotta admit she's done a whole lot of good for her people. I'm from South Africa and she's opening a school here for disadvantaged girls so whether she treats her dogs like her kids or whatever, i really couldn't care less. She's 50 - she has no kids of her own so what do you want her to do? I'm black and love both my dogs, does that make me a coconut. Grow up.

I've never thought that Oprah acts white or black, to be honest.

When I was her show, I thought her audience was a pretty good mix of racial make up.

As far as treating her dogs like kids - is that a white trait?

I think your term "coconut" is wrong. From what I understand Mexican people use the term "coconut"--brown on the outside, white on the inside. Black people use the term "oreo"--black on the outside, white on the inside. Since Oprah is Black and not Latina, you should have used the term "oreo."

Oprah is a joke. So many blind followers. My parents are my idols. No celeb will ever be my guide for anything. I will never get a book some pompous celeb reccomends. Wake up people. Oprah is only a tv personality.

I think she's alright....I do see a fair share of black and white people in her audience, depending on the topic of discussion that day.

I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts. There they are all standing in a row. Big ones, small ones, some as big as your head. Sorry, that really isn't my opinion, I just really like singing that song. Thanks for giving me the opportunity!

The above record is powerful, yet i might upload "selflessness"to it. you're able to desire to be prepared to allow your mate to be thierself except it is detrimental to the relationship. Faithfulness is likewise paramount. Infidelity, in any variety, is detrimental.
