How did you break the news to your husband about your pregnancy?

"Break" the news? Is he going to be upset? I would make him a nice meal, with candlelight, and then tell him! That would be so cute :) and something you would both remember.

honestly, my husband was the one who told me he thought I was pregnant. Well, two weeks went past and some of the problems stopped, but I went and took two pregnancy tests while he was still asleep, and they came positive, so I left them on the bathroom sink, with a note that said, surprise, you were right! I got a call at work 3 hours later, my husband thought I had just been suffering from the flu, and he had dismissed pregnancy, he was soo excited! Good Luck!

I was 19, and unwed so its was like OMG! My boyfriend was at his parents visiting at the time, 4 hours away. I had a feeling in my stomach like I had streched wrong or something, So I took the test and sure enough PREGNANT was across the screen (i got the digital one) I wasnt convinced. I went to the store and got another. I use a cell phone and it was dead, So luckily I live in the city and a gas station was just 2 blocks away, I drove there as fast as I could crying like crazy! I called my boyfriend screaming and crying and I said IM PREGNANT, and he calmly said ok sweetheart, IM LIKE WHAT!?
turns out he was sitting with his parents and the rest of his family at the time and he couldnt react to what I told him. He came home the next day and assured me that everything would be alright.....
Im now 14 weeks pregnant and WE ARE SO EXCITED. We thought about it and there are things that puts a dent in plans, and yes we put the cart before the horse, but we will be getting married soon, and we are very happy for our arrival to come March 4!

I knew before she did! The very next morning she woke up and said she felt "funny". I told her she was pregnant and she was. The reason I knew? Easy. My luck runs that way. We have friends that try and try and try taking months of repeated sex to conceive. Not me first shot and it's over. No every day of the week and twice on Sunday for me...
I am being facetious oh course. We were blessed with a home run the first time at the plate.

He was home when I took the test...so it was no surprise.

A friend of mine just found out she is & the way she broke it to her husband is really neat.

She bought a keychain that said "World's Greatest Dad" or something along those lines & put it on his keyring. When he went to pick up his keys he saw it. She said the look on his face was priceless.

Have some men that you realize and who've toddlers come over to the living house. Have them and your husband stand in a line. tell them that anybody with out any toddlers desires to take one step ahead. even as your husband begins to step ahead ask him why he's stepping ahead. this is not how my spouse advised me even with the undeniable fact that it particular sounds like exciting. 8)

LOL ok this is my husbands idea, but i kinda like it..

tell him that you weren't feeling well, so you went to the doctors, and he diagnosed you with the "nine month sickness" and i will get fat,cranky,sick,depressed,headaches,gass,frequent urination,eating a lot more,moody,and then at the end,you will go through tremedous pain, and then pop like a pimple....

see when he catched on :)

My husband is very involved in my pre. when we were trying to get pre. he made sure he was in the bathroom when i took the test he didnt want me to take it without him, he always want to make sure is there for everything. his great!
